Arrived in New York from her native Germany in 2000 with the goal of gaining work experience in the vibrant New York arts scene. Extensive freelancing eventually led her to head the Production Department at the Baryshnikov Arts Center since its inception in 2005. Recent other credits include tour & stage management for Aszure Barton & Artists and  Production Management for Baryshnikov Productions Inc. on local and international engagements.

Beatrice Georgalidis

Associate Producer

Beatrice has more than twenty years of experience in NYC, Los Angeles, and here in the Catskills as a producer and creative director in film, television, and the nonprofit sector. She has worked with Sundance Channel, Viacom, USA Films, MTV, VH1, and now serves as Executive Director at Bright Hill Press and Literary Center of the Catskills, a regional arts nonprofit. She has been awarded grants in the millions from the NIH, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and for arts and arts education programs by the NEA, NYSCA, and many more. She is thrilled to join The Visionary team as Associate Producer.

 

Jamie Leonard

Senior Project Manager

Jamie has acquired a vast array of skills and experience throughout his 30 + year career. He is an ETCP certified Rigger for Arena & Theatre, a fly man, carpenter, electrician, metal fabricator and welder. Jamie toured with Big Apple Circus, served as Flying Director for Flying by Foy for over 200 Productions of Peter Pan, Broadway Musicals such as Mary Poppins, American Idiot, Phantom of the Opera amongst many others, as Aerial Effects Supervisor for large scale Events such as the TONY Awards, the MTV Music Video Awards, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and NBC’s Live Productions of Peter Pan and Jesus Christ Superstar. He was the Production Rigger on the original Production of Martha Clarke’s Garden of Earthly Delights and on Steve Reich’s THE CAVE world tour. Jamie is a member of IATSE Local #1 Theatrical Stage Hands NYC and Local #52 Motion Picture Studio Mechanics.
